The Information Technology and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief Workshop, to be held from May 25-26, 2011, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is designed to bring together technology professionals from the academic, civilian and military communities to discuss the opportunities and challenges of using open source data sources post-disaster. This highly interactive workshop will feature presentations as well as small group sessions where participants can shape the agenda for harnessing the transformative power of information technologies in disaster settings.
