Generous Giving Leads to Full Donation Center in Loveland

Information provided by Colorado Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters

Thanks to the generosity of many in our community, the Donation Center in Loveland, Colorado is now chock-full of useful household items, furniture and dry goods that are being disseminated to area flood survivors.

Beginning Monday, September 30, the Donation Center will no longer be accepting material donations from the public. Residents who want to help are asked to make a monetary donation rather than bringing material items. Bottle water will continue to be accepted at the Center.

Donation Center Hours (through Sunday September 29):

  • Daily 7 a.m -7 p.m

New Donation Center Hours Starting on Monday, September 30:
  • Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. -7 p.m.
  • Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

NOTE: Starting Monday, September 30, the center will only be open for distribution of items to those affected by the floods, and will not be accepting donations from the public.

The Donation Center will be closed Saturday,  October 5 for a previously scheduled event.

Donations Collections Center Opening for High Park Fire (#HighParkFire)

DONATION DROP OFF ONLY
Opening Monday, June 18  9:00am

Larimer County, in partnership with Adventist Community Services Disaster Response, will open a Donations Collection Center:

  • Foothills Mall, 215 E. Foothills Parkway, Fort Collins, 80525
  • Donations Center is at the former Mervyn’s space

The Donations Collection Center will be open:

  • Opening Day: Monday, June 18th
  • Hours of Operation: Daily from 9:00am - 7:00pm
  • Open seven days a week
  • Cash donations will be accepted

Needed items at the Donations Collection Center include:

  • Diapers: adult and baby
  • Wipes
  • Personal hygiene items
  • New packaged underwear
  • Non-perishable foods:  NO HOME COOKED FOOD
  • Animal foods
  • New bedding: sheets, blankets and pillows
  • Laundry and cleaning supplies
  • Large trash cans and trash bags
  • Work gloves, new shovels, rakes
  • N-95 masks

Donations will be made available to those affected by the High Park Fire starting June 21st.
