Cancellation Notice: August 27 State Improvement Planning Workshop

The Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management must postpone the State Improvement Planning Workshop that was scheduled for this Thursday, August 27th from 8 a.m.to Noon. Unfortunately, the recent disaster declaration requires that many of the DHSEM staff members be involved in meetings on Thursdays. In order to have a meaningful discussion about our state threats, hazards, and areas of improvement, it is important to have those staff present; therefore, we will combine the IPW with the State Training and Exercise Planning Workshop to be held on November 18th at the Lone Tree Art Center.

DHSEM apologizes for the late notice; however, we want to be sure that that your valuable time is wisely spent and that we are able to make informed decisions regarding the focus for training and exercise for the next three years. Acting State Training Officer Lynn Bailey will be sending out a calendar invitation for the combined Improvement Planning Workshop/Training & Exercise Planning Workshop soon.
