  • Disaster Action Center (DAC): Thursday, March 16, 2017, Haxtun Community Center, 3-7 p.m. The center would be open to all victims of the fire (Logan and Phillips) with local government representation from Logan and Phillips County.

State EOC Remains Activated for Logan Fire Support

The State Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has activated to support a wildfire in the northeast corner of the state, including Logan County. The State EOC is currently activated at a Level 3.

The DHSEM Director, Kevin Klein, has activated the State Resource Mobilization Plan in anticipation of resources needed to support the fire.  The Governor has given verbal authorization for a state disaster declaration.  Local disaster declarations have been authorized by Logan and Phillips Counties.

An update will be posted after a 10 a.m. coordination call.

State resources assigned to the fire include:
  • Type III Incident Management Team (IMT) from Jefferson County and Eastern IMT.
  • 2 Strike Teams
  • 2 Colorado DHSEM Regional Field Managers
  • 2 Colorado DFPC Fire Management Officers
