State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) Status Level 2
SEOC is operational Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. DHSEM and SEOC staff are supporting several wildfires in the state.
- July 13: Governor Polis issued a verbal disaster declaration due to wildfires in Montrose, Delta and Mesa counties. Executive Order D 2025 - 010.
- August 3: Governor Polis issued a verbal disaster declaration due to the Elk Fire in Rio Blanco county. Updated August 6 to include the both the Elk Fire and the Lee Fire.
- August 4: Governor Polis issued a verbal disaster declaration due to the Leroux Fire in Delta County.
- August 6: FEMA approved Fire Management Assistance Grant funding for Lee and Elk Fires.
- August 10: Governor Polis Verbally Declares Disaster Emergency for Oak Fire in Archuleta County, Authorizes Use of Colorado National Guard
- August 11: FEMA Authorizes Funds to Fight Colorado’s Oak Fire
