2017 Colorado Emergency Management Conference Hosted by DHSEM and CEMA

Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and Colorado Emergency Management Association Present Annual Emergency Management Conference

 Colorado Springs, Colo. – February 28, 2017 –More than 400 emergency managers and first responders will attend this year’s sold-out 2017 Colorado Emergency Management Conference hosted by  the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM)  and the Colorado Emergency Management Association (CEMA)  in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The conference theme Force of Change: Reflecting on the Past, Focusing on the Future, offers a comprehensive conference agenda on emergency management. Colorado DHSEM Director Kevin Klein states, "The nature of our business is to expect and react to unexpected situations and change, but that is part of the joy of working in emergency management; change means there is always something new going on."  The Colorado Emergency Management Conference offers lessons-learned and the opportunity to enhance the knowledge and skills necessary to increase homeland security and emergency management capabilities.
