The Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) and the FEMA would like to invite you to a Media Roundtable on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Colorado Springs.
The roundtable will provide us an opportunity to learn how to best work together, through open conversation and shared information, to meet the needs of our community.

In addition DHSEM and FEMA program experts will provide an overview of assistance programs, highlighting program objectives and procedural steps at the local, state and federal levels.

Comments made by program experts are for educational purposes only, and are not quotable. Interviews will not be available on the day of the roundtable, but may be scheduled for a future date.
On July 16, President Obama issued a disaster declaration for Baca, Elbert, El Paso, Fremont, Logan, Morgan, Pueblo, Saguache, Sedgwick, Washington, and Yuma counties, making state, county, and local governments, as well as certain non-profit organizations, eligible to receive reimbursement for repairing infrastructure damage caused by the storms, as well as the cost of responding to them. On Aug. 12, Adams, Boulder, Park and Denver counties were added to the declaration.
